The Consell de Formentera will hold a free tutoring workshop for students in the fifth and sixth grades of school, which will take place between 26th January and the end of the school year.
The Councillor for Social Welfare, Dolores Fernández Tamargo, explained that the aim of the workshop is to, “integrate students with difficulties into the overall school group.”
The workshop will last for three hours on Monday and Friday afternoons and will include exercises to develop the habits of study skills, organisation and perseverance. It will also concentrate on mastering essential skills, especially mathematics and language.
The cost of the workshop is 7,432 euros, which has “largely” been financed by the Immigration Department of the Balearic Government, according to the Consell de Formentera.
