Eivissa is still the most expensive Balearic city for homebuyers

Eivissa has once again positioned itself as the most expensive of the Balearic Island’s population centres when it comes to buying a new home. Although overall property prices fell last year by 1.3%, according to a report by the Sociedad de Tasación (ST), the fact is that buying property in Vila costs, on average, €1,960 per square metre, €151 more than in Palma de Mallorca, the capital of the Balearic Islands. The highest prices are to be found in areas like Jesus, Talamanca and Can Pep Simo.

At the other end of the scale, Manacor and Ciutadella average €1,291 per square metre and €1,537 per square metre respectively.
