As November rolls around, daylight saving is here in Ibiza, and with less hours of daylight and less tourists; here are some free events that might encourage you to get out into the darkness.
5. Free French Film: Les Matinés du Soleil present Jamais de la vie
When: 8pm, 14th November
Where: Cas Serres Auditorium
About: As part of the Consell D’Eivissa Cultural Program they are showing a series of French Films for free at the Cas Serres Auditorium. On 14th November from 8pm they will show police drama ‘Jamais de la vie’ or ‘The Night Watchman’ starring Pierre Jolivet played by Olivier Gourmet, Valérie Bonneton, Marc Zinga. The film will be in it’s original format, with subtitles.
4. VODA (Agua/Water): Live Ensemble Musical Performance
When: 9pm, Saturday 5th November
Where: Can Jeroni, Sant Josep
About: Enjoy a night of traditional, live, Balkan inspired music for free (until the venue reaches capacity) in Can Jeroni, Sant Josep.
3. ‘Artimel’ Exhibition & Auction
When: 10am, Saturday 5th November
Where: Sala Ebusus in Ibiza
About: The Institut d´Estudis Eivissencs are holding a fundraiser to raise proceeds to modernize their new IEE headquarters in Via Punica. The theme of the show will be “honey” and over 50 local artists are participating, entrance to the event is free although you do need to pre-register by emailing the Insitute firstname.lastname@example.org… Then you will be given access into the fun of the auction, where there will be a collection of artwork available to bid on from discounts of up to 50% of their original value.
2. Musif X Party
When: 10pm, 11th November
Where: Veto Social Club, Ibiza Town
About: Enjoy local DJ’s plus a special secret musical guest from Berlin, as Musicon Sin Fronteras celebrates its 10th birthday at Veto Social Club, Marina Botafoch Ibiza.

Where: Santa Gertrudis Town
About: 16th begins the week of celebrations, where the town of Santa Gertrudis’ will come alive with activities in honour of it’s patron Saint day. There will be a marquee behind the church that will host live music performances and traditional dances, as well as a wide selection of food stalls available offering local cuisine and other products from the island.
