LITTLE FARMERS

WHERE: Finca La Granja
WHEN: Every Saturday, from 11 am to 2 pm
AGE: 6-10yrs

ABOUT: Little Farmers is a great opportunity to spend quality time with your children outdoors. It’s a fun and educational activity as your kids will develop an understanding of nature. After creating their own veggie patch, kids will have fun with different food activities by using products from their own garden. As kids will learn to take care of the veggie patch is important that they will attend almost every week.

ESCAPE ROOMS IBIZA

WHERE: Via Púnica 4, Ibiza Town
WHEN: Reservations available between 10 am – 10 pm daily (every two hours) advanced booking is advised.
AGE: +12yrs (even if smaller children are welcome to join)

CASITA VERDE

WHERE: Valley near San José
WHEN: Every Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm
AGE: All age
COSTS: You need to become a member of the NGO which costs 10€ and is valid for life – so you have to pay it only once and then you can go to Casita Verde as often as you like.
ABOUT: Chris has created an eco-paradise at Casita Verde. Every Sunday there’s a tasty veggie lunch at 2pm made mostly from product of the island. Later, there’s a two-hour tour of the grounds taking in the bottle houses, the eco-dwellings, the tree house and you can also see how they make renewable energy. It’s great for kids to explore and learn, plus there’s a great children’s playground for afterwards. It’s fun, educational and a great diversion for the whole family.

EL ARBOL DE LAS RISAS

WHERE: Calle Isidoro Macabich 6, Santa Eularia
WHEN: Monday to Friday,  8:30 am – 3:3 pm / 4 pm – 8:30 pm – Saturday 8.30 am – 2.30 pm – Sunday closed.
AGE: All age
COSTS: Depending on activity
ABOUT: They do not only offer a space for kids to play but they arrange educational workshops and activities. The lively and fun kids program includes giant bowling games, makeup workshops, fashion accessories, arts and crafts! The activities are suitable for all ages.

SWIMMING POOL LESSONS

WHERE: Municipal pools or in Bfit fitness centre
WHEN: Check timetable of each place
AGE: All age
COSTS: Depending on the venue
ABOUT: If you want your kids to be ready for the summer, sign up them to one of the swimming pool lessons available at any municipal pools or in Bfit fitness centre. They provide classes for every age and ability –  from the first gentle splash to confident swimmer. Swimming lessons run all year round but make sure to check out the timetable of your preferred venue.

HORSERIDING

WHERE: Horseriding schools across the island
WHEN: Check timetable of each place
AGE: +6yrs
COSTS: Depending on the venue
ABOUT: If your children have never had a chance to try horseriding, this is a great way to ease them into it – and also join in yourselves, whether you have any experience or not. As well as sessions for adults,  each school offers a kids’ package where basic tuition is provided in the paddock before a gentle trek on small horses. For the most adventurous ones, they also arrange routes through the interior of the island which lead through fields and farmland.
