Spring is in the air and we couldn’t be happier! To make the most of the good weather (hopefully!), here for you some free events taking place this March all around the island…

Where: All over the island
About: The Day of the Balearic Islands is celebrated on the 1st of March, but this year the celebration will last until the 4th of March with more than 30 activities planned all over the island. Events include food tasting, markets and displays of traditional products, sports activities, children’s activities, workshops of Ball Pagés and concerts.

FIRA DEL GERRET
When: Saturday 3rd March from 11am
Where: Santa Eularia
About: This delicious gastronomic event is organised to promote the local fish, called Gerret (Catalan), a typical product of the island. The main road of Santa Eularia will be invaded by stalls from more than twenty restaurants, offering samples of dishes made with Gerret – from classic recipes to more creative elaborations.

Where: Different venues
About: To celebrate Women’s March this year Diario de Ibiza with the Cultural Association of Es Moli d’Eivissa have organised a full week of conferences, workshops and activities. Starting on the 5th of March with feminist illustrator Raquel Riba Rossy who will present her latest comic book of Lola Vendetta in Club Diario de Ibiza.

FESTIVAL OF SANT JOSEP
When: 19 of March
Where: Sant Josep
About: Every year to celebrate Sant Josep, the little village organised plenty of activities – sports events, food tasting and live concerts. This year program has not been released yet, so we advise you to keep an eye on the Ayuntamiento website not to miss anything – the highlights of the celebration are the annual Flower Power party and the live rock concerts of Sant Pepe Rock (held this year on the 31st of March).
