Ibiza Gay Pride 2017: What’s On?

Following the success of the the last two Ibiza Gay Pride’s this year’s celebration of love and tolerance will be taking place between 14th – 17th June 2017. Want to get the low down on what’s happening this 2017 for Ibiza’s 3rd annual Gay Pride festival?

Here we have the details…

What: Celebrate love and diversity in true Ibiza style with an actioned packed week of activities, fashion, music, fun and laughter for this years Ibiza Gay Pride centred around the port of Ibiza’s Old Town.

14th – 17th June

 Various venues will be taking part and running specific events but the main action will be centred in and around Ibiza Port / Old Town.

This Year Theme: The director of this years 2017 Gay Pride in Ibiza, Antonio Balibrea, explained that the purpose of this festival is to launch a message of “tolerance, free love and respect” that if all people adopted this attitude ‘the world would be a much simpler place’.

He also mentioned the importance of the event in terms of raising ‘social respect and dignity of people, and for personality development, awareness raising, responsible sexual education and prevention of diseases such as STI and HIV.’
