If you live in Santa Eularia you know that in the last months have been undertaken many roadworks, turning many streets of town into pedestrian areas, which led to less parking space for both residents and tourists.
But here’s the good news, the council has announced to develop 500 new parking spaces – 2 new parking spaces have just been opened to the public providing 165 new spaces and three additional car park areas are planned in the future. All the parking spaces are within an easy walking distance from the centre of town.
The two parking area already open to the public are located in the area near Santa Eularia Port. The first space is a plot next to the “Pirate” kids playground. It is a plot featuring 120 new car park spaces and which can be accessed from the Sant Joan street. The second parking lot is smaller in size, with only 45 spaces available but which features also parking spaces for people with disabilities. This new parking area is located at the intersection of Sant Joan street with José Guasch Vich street, next to Hotel Tres Torres.
The future projects will involve the development of three more parking areas, two of which are expected to be completed within the next summer months.
